Li-Shei Lin, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Li-Shei Lin has been described by her patients as compassionate, kind, and attentive while also providing optimal health care and cutting-edge ART/IVF technology. She has the unique ability to balance science and compassion for patients going through the difficult process of family building. Prior to joining Reproductive Partners Fertility Center – San Diego, Dr. Lin served as the Director of the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Division at Kaiser Permanente San Diego for more than 20 years. She is board-certified in both Obstetrics/Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. 

As a Clinical Professor at the University of California San Diego, Dr. Lin has long been actively teaching fellows in the REI subspecialty. She taught the unique and rare cases of reproductive endocrinology in a tertiary referral clinic along with Dr. Jeffery Chang. She has a didactic and patient sensitive style that lends itself to positive learning that has been applauded. She is recognized as an excellent surgeon and teacher in the operation room. 

Dr. Lin graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with both M.D. and Ph.D. degrees. She received her OB/GYN residency training at the University of Pittsburgh Magee Women’s Hospital and fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Lin speaks Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese. 

Dr Lin is interested in Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, diminished ovarian reserve, recurrent miscarriages, unexplained infertility, egg freezing/embryo banking, and fertility preservation.

Dr. Lin enjoys cooking, gardening, and drawing.
