Job Title: Laboratory Assistant  

Salary Range: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour

Job Summary:  

The Laboratory Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the laboratory team, ensuring the smooth operation of the fertility clinic’s laboratory. This role involves handling biological samples, preparing, and maintaining laboratory equipment, and assisting with various laboratory procedures. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, follow protocols diligently, and work effectively in a collaborative environment. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Administrative duties such as data collection and data entry, and ensuring supplies are ordered. 
  • Scanning IVF laboratory files and documentation. 
  • Preparing paperwork for daily procedures. 
  • Organizing schedules, packaging and shipping of samples as needed. 
  • Works collaboratively with Laboratory Lead and the team to follow best practices and uphold the highest standards. 
  • Assisting with other various tasks within our laboratories. 

Qualifications:  

  • Minimum education of a bachelor’s degree in a physical science required. 
  • 1-2 years of laboratory or clinical experience strongly desired. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computer skills. 
  • Previous experience in Women’s Health strongly preferred.  
  • Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Effective communication of complex processes is required. 
  • MLT California license preferred.
